Almighty God, we have just begun a new year. We ask you to bless it and bring peace and prosperity to all. May humanity return to you, the author of time. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.

Prayer For Paris & The World
We ask you to bring solace to all those suffering from the recent attacks in Beirut and Paris. So many have suffered undered the threat and acts of terrorism which has been committed in your name.
Bring to justice and conversion those who pervert religion in order to harm others. Protect cities, towns and countries from violence and acts of war. We are your children; we are brothers and sisters with you as our one Father. Teach us to love one another; cherish one another and protect one another.
Bring peace to the hearts of those terrorists who believe that you justify division and violence.
Bring peace to those who think Christianity and Islam are supposed to be opposing forces at war. Protect the world from the wickedness and snares of the devil who has deceived many.
We ask you Our Lady to pray for us. Our Lady who is dear to the French and who holds many titles in France; Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of La Salette, Our Lady of Laus, Our Lady of Rue du Bac, and Our Lady of Pontmain.
Please pray for your French children as well as your children suffering in Beirut and elsewhere.
We ask you Our Lady to pray for the followers of Islam. The people of Portugal know you as Our Lady of Fatima; Fatima was the name of Mohammed's daughter. Only you can penetrate the hearts of your children, especially those few who use religion to cause harm. Pray for them and lead them to your Son Christ and His Catholic Church.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

#PrayForFerguson
Almighty Father, we ask you to bring peace upon the United States of America especially Ferguson, Missouri. There is much anger over the many unarmed young lives being taken by those who are sworn to protect. We understand the need for self preservation but also hold that life is precious and sacred. Help our communities learn to coexist and set aside suspicion and prejudice. Protect our law enforcers and give them guidance when they are in a situation where they fear for their lives. Calm protesters who feel betrayed. Bring humility to governments who try to oppress their people. Bring upon us love for one another so that we may not see just colors, but your image in others. Help our young people avoid the temptation of engaging in criminal activity. Bring peace to our communities, especially to our hearts. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

V- And Lead Us Not Into Temptation.
R- But Deliver Us From Evil.
Psalm LXIX
Incline unto my aid, O God.
O Lord, make haste to help me.
Let them be confounded and ashamed that seek my soul.
Let them be turned backward and blush for shame that desire evils to me.
Let them be presently turned away blushing for shame that say to me, "Tis well, 'tis well."
Let all that seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee; and let such as love Thy salvation say always, The Lord be magnified. But I am needy and poor: O God, help me.
Thou art my helper and my deliverer; O Lord, make no delay.
Glory Be To The Father, etc.
V- Save Thy servants.
R- Trusting in Thee, O my God.
V- Be unto us, O Lord, a tower a strength.
R- From the face of the enemy.
V- Let not the enemy prevail against us.
R- Nor the son of iniquity have power to hurt us.
V- O Lord, do not deal with us according to our sins.
R- Neither reward us according to our iniquities.
V- Let us pray for our chief bishop: (name)
R- The Lord preserve him, and give him life, and make him blessed upon the earth, and deliver him not up to the will of his enemies.
V- Let us pray for our benefactors.
R- Vouchsafe, O Lord, for Thy name's sake, to reward with eternal life all those who do us good.
V- Let us pray for the faithful departed.
R- Eternal rest give unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
V- May they rest in peace.
R- Amen.
V- For our absent brethren.
R- Save Thy servants who hope in Thee, O my God.
V- Send them help, O Lord, from Thy holy place.
R- And from Sion protect them.
V- O Lord, hear my prayer.
R- And let my cry come unto Thee.
LET US PRAY:
O God, Whose property is always to have mercy and to spare, receive our petition, that we and all Thy servants who are bound by the chain of sin, may, by the compassion of Thy goodness, mercifully be absolved.
Hear, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the prayers of Thy supplicants, and pardon the sins of those who confess to Thee, that, in Thy bounty, Thou mayest grant us both pardon and peace.
In Thy clemency, O Lord, show Thy unspeakable mercy to us, that so Thou mayest both loose us from all our sins and deliver us from the punishments which we deserve for them.
O God, who by sin art offended and by penance pacified, mercifully regard the prayers of Thy people, who make supplication to Thee, and turn away the scourges of Thine anger, which we deserve for our sins.
O almighty and eternal God, have mercy on Thy servant (N)., our chief bishop, and direct him according to Thy clemency, in the way of everlasting salvation, that, by Thy grace, he may desire the things that are pleasing to Thee, and perform them with all his strength.
O God, from Whom are all holy desires, righteous counsels, and just works, give to Thy servants that peace which the world cannot give; that, our hearts being disposed to keep Thy commandments, and the fear of enemies taken away, the times, by Thy protection, may be peaceful.
Inflame, O Lord, our reins and hearts with the fire of the Holy Spirit; that we may serve Thee with a chaste body, and please Thee with a clean heart.
O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful, give to the souls of Thy servants departed the remission of all their sins, that through pious supplications they may obtain the pardon they have always desired.
Direct, we beseech Thee, O Lord, our actions by Thy holy inspirations, and carry them on by Thy gracious assistance; that every prayer and work of ours may always begin from Thee, and through Thee be happily ended.
O almighty and eternal God, Who hast dominion over the living and the dead, and art merciful to all who Thou foreknowest will be Thine by faith and good works: we humbly beseech Thee that they for whom we have purposed to offer our prayers, whether this present world still detains them in the flesh or the next world hath already received them divested of their bodies, may, by the intercession of Thy saints and the clemency of Thy goodness, obtain pardon and full remission of all their sins. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end.
R- Amen.
V- O Lord, hear my prayer.
R- And let my cry come unto Thee.
V- May the almighty and merciful Lord graciously hear us.
R- Amen.
V- And my the souls of the faithful departed throught the mercy of God, rest in peace.
R- Amen.

Prayer to Therese of the Child Jesus
O Little Therese of the Child Jesus,
Please pick a rose for me
From the heavenly gardens
And send it to me
As a message of love.
O little flower of Jesus,
Ask God today to grant the favors
I now place with confidence
In your hands.
(Mention your specific requests)
St. Therese,
help me to always believe,
As you did,
In God's great love for me,
So that I might imitate your
"Little Way" each day. Amen

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
“O Glorious Prince of the heavenly host, St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in the battle and in the terrible warfare that we are waging against the principalities and powers, against the rulers of this world of darkness, against the evil spirits. Come to the aid of man, whom Almighty God created immortal, made in His own image and likeness, and redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of Satan.
“Fight this day the battle of the Lord, together with the holy angels, as already thou hast fought the leader of the proud angels, Lucifer, and his apostate host, who were powerless to resist thee, nor was there place for them any longer in Heaven. That cruel, ancient serpent, who is called the devil or Satan who seduces the whole world, was cast into the abyss with his angels. Behold, this primeval enemy and slayer of men has taken courage. Transformed into an angel of light, he wanders about with all the multitude of wicked spirits, invading the earth in order to blot out the name of God and of His Christ, to seize upon, slay and cast into eternal perdition souls destined for the crown of eternal glory. This wicked dragon pours out, as a most impure flood, the venom of his malice on men of depraved mind and corrupt heart, the spirit of lying, of impiety, of blasphemy, and the pestilent breath of impurity, and of every vice and iniquity.
“These most crafty enemies have filled and inebriated with gall and bitterness the Church, the spouse of the immaculate Lamb, and have laid impious hands on her most sacred possessions. In the Holy Place itself, where the See of Holy Peter and the Chair of Truth has been set up as the light of the world, they have raised the throne of their abominable impiety, with the iniquitous design that when the Pastor has been struck, the sheep may be.
“Arise then, O invincible Prince, bring help against the attacks of the lost spirits to the people of God, and give them the victory. They venerate thee as their protector and patron; in thee holy Church glories as her defense against the malicious power of hell; to thee has God entrusted the souls of men to be established in heavenly beatitude. Oh, pray to the God of peace that He may put Satan under our feet, so far conquered that he may no longer be able to hold men in captivity and harm the Church. Offer our prayers in the sight of the Most High, so that they may quickly find mercy in the sight of the Lord; and vanquishing the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, do thou again make him captive in the abyss, that he may no longer seduce the nations. Amen.
V. Behold the Cross of the Lord; be scattered ye hostile powers.
R. The Lion of the tribe of Judah has conquered the root of David.
V. Let Thy mercies be upon us, O Lord.
R. As we have hoped in Thee.
V. O Lord, hear my prayer.
R. And let my cry come unto Thee.
Let us pray.
O God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we call upon Thy holy Name, and as supplicants, we implore Thy clemency, that by the intercession of Mary, ever Virgin Immaculate and our Mother, and of the glorious St. Michael the Archangel, Thou wouldst deign to help us against Satan and all the other unclean spirits who wander about the world for the injury of the human race and the ruin of souls. Amen.”

Prayer for Peace in Israel & Palestine
Almighty God, we ask you to bring about peace, love and tolerance in your Holy Land. This land which bears witness to your salvific work is now a battle ground between the children of Abraham, the descendants of Isaac and Ishmael. Only you can breach the hardest of hearts and fill them with love. For far too long many innocent men, women and children have died. Blood is shed for reasons of hate, retaliation, immaturity, intolerance and territorial aggression. They have forgotten the sacred place they kill each other on and that both the Jews and Arabs are children of Father Abraham regardless of how they express their faith. Please unite your children in the Holy Land. Bring them to set aside their weapons and replace them with a mutual genuine embrace that seeks peace, tolerance and co-existence.

Holy Thursday Prayer for Priests
Lord, we ask you to give your grace to our ordained clergy, deacons, priests and bishops. Give them health of mind, body and spirit so they can do your work on Earth. You called them to partake in your priesthood and trusted them with the care of your flock. Be with them always. From Scripture we know that you choose the weak to change the world.
Our priests are indeed weak and frail. They are targets for Satan and sin. Their ministry is so important that Satan wishes that they fail in their tasks. In light of this, we ask you to protect your priests. Keep them focused on you and on their ministry. Spare them from the temptations Satan presents them. Temptations of living a comfortable worldly life. Temptations to violate their promises and vows of chastity, poverty and obedience depending on their role in the Church.
Comfort them in times of trial, doubt and solitude. Provide for them a faithful and loving flock. Protect your priests from the dangers of the world. Keep them safe at their residences and when they travel to minister to others. Most importantly, keep them holy. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

Prayer for Pope Francis
Heavenly Father, we ask you to bestow your grace and blessings upon Pope Francis whom you entrusted with the care of your Son's Catholic Church as His Vicar on Earth. Give Francis the graces needed to do his Petrine ministry which is no easy task. Give him the wisdom and knowledge to tackle today's errors and irrational ways of thinking. Give him the strength to continue despite the stresses that will try to bring him down.
He has just completed one year on the journey as Pope and has done much in your name by making humility and poverty relevant again within the Church, reaching out to atheists, gays and others who are in defiance of you due to ignorance; as well as calling for renewal and Christian unity. Continue to give him the grace that will allow him to bring more to the fold. To reach out to those far from you as he casts his net into the deep like St. Peter did as a fisherman.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

Birthday Prayer
Life is a beautiful thing. It may get hard at times, but God is always there. We should thank God everyday especially on the day of our birth. Life is a gift from God.
Birthday Prayer
Thank you, God, for giving me another year of life.
Thank you for all the people who remembered me today
by sending cards, and letters, gifts and good wishes.
Thank you for all the experience of this past year;
for times of success which will always be happy memories,
for times of failure which reminded me of my own weakness and of my need for you,
for times of joy when the sun was shining,
for times of sadness which drove me to you.
Forgive me
for the hours I wasted,
for the chances I failed to take,
for the opportunities I missed this past year.
Help me in the days ahead to make this the best year yet,
and through it to bring good credit to myself,
happiness and pride to my loved ones,
and joy to you. Amen.

Prayer to End Abortion
Prayer to End Abortion
Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life,
And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.
I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion,
Yet I rejoice that you have conquered death
by the Resurrection of Your Son.
I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.
I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement,
And never to stop defending life
Until all my brothers and sisters are protected,
And our nation once again becomes
A nation with liberty and justice
Not just for some, but for all.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen!
